Fun Gun Gear Reviews Presents: Revisiting the I.D.B. or "Intruder Defense Bag" . Having so many people contact me about the IDB, I decided to do an update and encourage everyone to be prepared for that bump in the night.

Hey Sooch, just a heads up; we had a guy that was convicted for using that bear spray on an intruder because it was against the manufactures directions...he is now serving time as a fellon.

Handcuffs? Maybe to restrain me from beating the living you know what out the individual trying to hurt my family.

@TJ347 I think, since he has kids/other family in his household, he has to go around the house and check on everyone. But I agree, if it's just you and maybe wife/girlfriend, that plan works.

My 9mm is right on my nightstand and the Mossberg between me and the nightstand, both ready to go if needed. I don't have a light on them, but I don't need one as I'm not leaving my bedroom in a break-in situation and sleep with my door locked. I would grab the Mossberg, call the police and tell the invader that he had ten seconds to grab as much as he could and get the hell out as I racked the shotgun. That's my home defense plan.
