Holiday Horrors - turkey abuse uncovered

While working at a series of Aviagen factory farms in West Virginia, PETA's investigator documented that workers tortured, mutilated, and maliciously killed turkeys. The following are just a few of the documented offenses:

Employees stomped on turkeys' heads, punched turkeys, hit them on the head with a can of spray paint and pliers, and struck turkeys' heads against metal scaffolding.

Men shoved feces and feed into turkeys' mouths and held turkeys' heads under water. Another bragged about jamming a broom stick 2 feet down a turkey's throat.

A supervisor said he saw workers kill 450 turkeys with 2-by-4s.

One man said he saw a coworker fatally inject turkey semen and sulfuric acid into turkeys' heads.

Unfortunately, abuse and cruelty such as this (both egregious, and as "standard industry practice") is clearly common practice among big corporate factory farms (perhaps not as much among smaller producers). On YouTube, you can find many, many other investigations from various organizations showing horrific farm animal abuse. Unhealthy, abused, disposable animals still produce, esp. with antibiotics and hormones, and the factory-farm practices that result in abuse save the corporations money.

I'm a hunter and fisherman and have always thought PETA was a joke. I can't watch this, PETA deserves a big pat on the back for exposing this. Also the worker who had the courage to go undercover and hold his emotions back while filming this. I would have seriously hurt those jerks who hurt those turkeys.

Turkeys are meat animals, not companion animals. And they taste delicious. This video makes me look forward to Thanksgiving. Remember, folks, what Uncle Ted said: "Ya can't grill it, 'till ya kill it!"

How would u like them to kill the turkeys??Ask them to kill themselves?I'm sure all of u commenting use no animal products what so ever no do u?Because if u do guess what they had to kill the animal before u ever used it.
