Your story: Nikita Kering

What is the best Christmas gift you would give your child? A question that would perhaps be very hard to answer for most parents considering the hard economic times... but one mother has a suggestion. On your story this week we bring you the story of a young girl, Nikkita Kering, who at nine years says the best gift her parents ever gave her ,is supporting her to nurture her talent: music. To mother and daughter, one of the most celebrated festivities in the Christian calendar ,can be appreciated more if only everyone of us is given a chance to do what they are passionate about. typical privileged children...they live in Karen!! when will these media houses have the balls and the guts to go out to remote areas and report about talented children who are struggling with hunger, disease and poverty....Does Nikita inspire an average Kenyan child??? BIG NO!
