It is difficult at the very least. Handel was not easy on the voice of the range of the instrumental soloist. But that's why even Mozart, and Sir Isaac Newton were taken by his style of baroque composition. If you desire to hear a baroque composer in the pure sense of the genre, you must hear Handel for all styles, German, French, his hardcore Italian, and his most romanic English. Handel had the heart of a fine baroque composer.

Guys, do you realise how hard is this aria, I mean not only for the heroic Cesare but for the horn at the same time: horn is playing sforzatto while in highest register and the role is good one movement of the serious concerto. This is actually duett or duo and Cesare should stay in alto while horn oposes in its highest register which is actually tenor. So, times of Cesare singing bariton are behind and outdated, sort of speak.

@nicosupersex it was common place for basses to sing the role from 19th century to mid 20th

@ah332 saddly for you Handel wrote it for a castrato voice, since there aren't castrati anymore, the role must be sung by a countertenor or a mezzo-sopran........
