@Vilagen well pateince is a virtue i am not patient either but i learned i just need to learn how to change chords but i learned quickly if music is in your heart and a part of your life you will catch on very quickly
@halodude178 you can play any style on any guitar, really.. but a good option for going metal is bc rich guitars. I really dislike their evil-looking guitars, but they do a great job at making low-budget metal-tastic axes.
@Vilagen To help with that, pick a song that you really like that is not complicated, and go from there. It still requires patience though, so you'll just need to discipline yourself.
@halodude178 Depends what you mean by normal guitar. Flying V's are great for metal and beyond as well though. The only hitch I have found with flying V's is that its kinda a pain in the butt to sit down and play but other than that they are great.
