Osama's pictures 'morphed'

When news first broke that the world's most dreaded terrorist Osama Bin Laden was dead, the picture was proof that Osama was no more. But hours later, came a shocking turn round. The bloodied image with matted hair and a blank, half-opened eye was removed off TV channels and newspaper websites. It turned out that 2 pictures - a genuine one of the terrorist taken in 1998 and another a bloodied one initially published by the Middle East online newspaper on 29 April 2009 were morphed to produce a 'fake'. Ironically, a deception unfolding on the day which saw the end of the terrorist who managed to hoodwink the world for 10 years.
