Why so slow pulling out of the station? Meeting another train?
I can't understand the question about tripod. Video was very stable. If that was you holding the camera, you don't need a tripod!!
Did the dogs at the end give you any trouble? Sounded kind of mean!

The train was *not* sixteen coaches long* as the song Mystery train suggest, it is actually 8 coaches long (not actually coaches, but some sleepers),and 3 locomotives.
This is an old B&O route.

that was with a tripod. the train stopped because that is a station there. the passengers get off on the other side and walk underneath the tracks.
