BEST SONG I EVER HEARD, PLAY IT OVER AND OVER EVERY CHRISTMAS SEASON. EVER SINCE IT CAME OUT YEARS AGO. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE. KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS. "JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON"....
This is one of the most beautiful Christmas songs I have ever heard. Your mother had a wonderful heart to write something this beautiful. I know Jesus must love it very much.
Thanks for all condolences. My Mother Jean Dinning (Surrey) sang in a trio with her sisters in the '40s and '50s "The Dinning Sisters". In 1959, she wrote the #1 song "Teen Angel" recorded by her brother Mark Dinning. Both are also on YouTube.
@windycindyc My aunt Carolyn told us a story years ago. She had heard this song one year and searched high and low for years after to find out who sang it. She thought the name of it was Fall Softly Snow. I think she and my uncle Tom were in a thrift store in Gatlinburg (?) when he found it in a big box of old 45's. Her daughter Leslie recorded it on tapes (lol) and gave them to us. I no longer have a tape player (lol) and looked on You Tube and found it!
