  • @points2shopPROOF :it depends on if you intend to overclock your setup also

  • @CurlyMcAfro

    but can it run tetris?

  • How much did this machine cost? OVER $9,000.00!!!! LOL

  • @Mii2626

Actually, the companies have made their products to run better

on certain chipsets. Nvidia cards WILL run better with intel proccesors

and ATI cards WILL run better with AMD proccesors. Also note

that the "better" is not 50% or 25% more efficiency but

the "better" is about 5% to 10%. Maybe even less. ATI is a branch of AMD.

They started it, and then, Nvidia did the same with Intel.

It's all a way of each company the buy their products.

also Linus told and marked that was 1000 watts on AC power.

If you want to measure it on DC you should add about 1/3 of that.

That mean you go up to ~1300 watts on DC. Power suplies are not

running at 100% efficiency but 75% to 85%. In other words,

You need a power suply with AT LEAST 1500 watts output.

Check out the web for more accurate numbers.

  • Strong man o_o

  • @tangletailpro no...... thats like saying nvidia gpu's are gunna run better on an intel cpu vs an amd cpu, it doesnt matter if they were made by the same company or not it just matter what kind of hardware the cpu has

  • Well shit man nice rig. However this is a non-fanboy suggestion.

Use an AMD CPU. Its rumored that an AMD GPU runs a faster if it uses an AMD CPU. This is probably true because they are both from the same company so there would be some technology love between the two.

  • @points2shopPROOF 1000 watts is barely enough for 72 amps. Got to remember that a lot of other devices use that 12v.
