In this 5 disc DVD set, Chris Costa and Travis Haley receive instruction from renowned long range expert, Todd Hodnett (Accuracy 1st) on the fundamentals needed to shoot consistently out to a mile.

my 308 is the basterd child of these. cut the range they are shooting in half, then cut it in half agin and i can get a head shot lol

@bulldawq1 For a good rifle I suggest possibly something in a 308 or even better a 300 Win Mag. The 308 can be accurate for up to around 1000 m and the 300 can be accurate for a little further, up to around 1200 m. That's not totally accurate though and more of a text book estimate and I'm sure that people have fired longer ranges with those calibers.

@bulldawq1 I suggest picking up a decent rifle and start shooting in every condition you can possibly put yourself in. Heat, cold, snow, fog, night, day... etc. There are a ton of different reasons why a bullet travels the way it does and the more you familiarize yourself with those things the better shot you will be. I'm not a professional but I have been shooting for long enough to know that being a great shooter involves consistent training.
