February 16, 2008. Organized by a small group of concerned citizens. Bill Saunders and James Flack speak about the implications of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) and the corporate influence of the North American Competitive Council (NACC).
The SPP is the political manifestation of a corporate plan for economic and security integration that was never voted on in any country. Big business lobbies like the Canadian Council of Chief Executives (CCCE) drafted almost all of the SPP's 300 initiatives and they continue to be the only Canadian group with any input into the SPP. In May 2006, Prime Minister Stephen Harper put 10 members of the CCCE onto a permanent high-level advisory board called the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC). This group has been asked to "prioritize the priorities" in the SPP and to "drive change." Meanwhile, the public and most of our publicly elected officials have been left out of the picture completely.

WALMART. Let me tell you about Walmart's role here. They are the biggest retailer in North America; they are so big that they literally dictate to absolutely every manufacturer that wants to sell to them, what systems that manufacturer must use from factory to pallet to loading dock. And WALMART single-handedly is converting North America to RFID systems. This is why we have a flood of 10 or more of them setting up in Montreal in the last couple of years. Wherever they go, RFID goes.

Check the net, you are organizing like this in the U.S. In fact, this rally is American! These people have no clue what their own Constitution is, they're quoting American founders, American patriots, american democracy, they have no clue what the Canadian Parliamentary system is, and they are pursuing all the wrong courses, as a result. Up here, it's very easy to kick these guys out. You just have to know your Constitution. Conmen take advantage that most of us don't.

That "sacrifice liberty" quote was Benjamin Franklin, not Thomas Jefferson. Why are Canadians always quoting Americans? Have we no history of our own? I'm sure we do, we just haven't learned any of it.

Why can't we organize like this in the US? Are you seriously going to tell me that the average american is that apathetic? I don't believe it. Not for a minute. To the younger generation: It's your future, our past mistakes. Don't let your fathers and grand fathers influence how you look at the world. You will be the one to pay the consequence, not them.
