Cookie came to the USA in the 50's from Puerto Rico to find the American Dream. Instead, Cookie started running life in the streets, using Meth & homeless. Now, she is the author of two books, "Please Make Me Cry" and "Cookie".

Cookie's son Danny "D-Boy" Rodriguez was shot at the age of 22 and known as a leader and mentor to the streets. D-Boy was also a pioneer of christian rap music. You can find out more at

D-Boy was ahead of his time. I adomish you brothers and anyone else rapping to take his example: putting out amazing music for the LORD and not relying on the image and "swagga" of the world. D-Boy didnt bite the world in terms of flow or beats....now most christian rap sounds the same (all trying to rap and look like crunk artists)....not interesting and it does not do our LORD any justice. Let's be original for His glory!
