I had these decks, the problem is that the response in vinyl mode is horrible. The latency is still the same on the C324's. Not only failure in the buttons but they have difficulty reading MP files. One one deck it wouldn't even read my CD. If you're going with cd decks I would suggest Denon's or Pioneer. These ones have a lot of looks but in reality they are a failure waiting to happen. I sold mine.

@MegaDirtybird: I fiddled with mine a long time. These decks have a lot of issues, and I eventually replaced mine with some CDI500's. A better replacement in the same price range as the C.314/324 would be a pair of Radius 1000's, or Denon DNS1200's.

Hi, i have the same cd decks. I supose this happens beacuse it must have a jog wheel speed control-limit, i think it will reach a very high speed when the laser lense wont read the disc and the music will freeze, also the anti shock may fail. so i think it has a limit to avoid this. imagine if you put a motor to spin your jog wheel so it can go a lot faster u can spin it with your hand, even a cdj1000 would fail at certain speed... I dont know. something like that to make shure music wont fail...

Spinning the jog wheel does nothing to the movement of the CD disc in the tray. The scratch effect is a digital effect, and done by digital processing, not by actually changing anything about how the CD spins. The music on the CD disc is digital data, not like a vinyl record. The CDI500, which is similiarly priced, does NOT have the same problem, and does a spin back just fine.

buy cdj 1000's or dont do spinbacks

Thank you, but no. I can do spin backs just fine on a dozen other decks besides the CDJ1000.
