Pray for Canada and especially Ontario. We have now come to that sorry condition that Scripture talks about when a people reach that point where it is no longer possible for God to restrain His anger. We are responsible for our own demise as a nation. Gay people are not the problem....we all are.

Those who limit free speech, debate and the exchange of ideas are evil. Stating one's positions, opinions and beliefs is not a crime. Arguing against another's lifestyle, position, opinions or beliefs is not a crime. Let matters be settled with words. Let matters not be settled at the point of a gun. If one side of the political debate is muzzled and cannot speak - how then will the matter be settled? Guns instead of words? The free flow of words, ideas, debate & arguments is of first importance

My brother went to school at the U of C and one faggot was fucking the other one in the ass in the common bathroom.
He complained and they said that he was anti gay and everything else, nothing was done. We are at a police state pretty much. STOP VOTING ANYTHING LEFT OF CONERVATIVE.

@eiwaz Perfect example of freedom of speech. You can say I'm a nazi, but freedom of speech clearly doesn't guarantee you're protected from other people's stupid comments. Shouting "fire" when there is no fire is not freedom of speech. In this specific case, you're not free to shout fire with the intent on causing panic. Wouldn't you agree?

@Subher0 How about if everyone stops being such namby pamby pansies and we each exercise some self control? You sound like a faggot Nazi. Fuck your fascist laws! Freedom is a foreign concept to scumbags like you. You don't understand it and you never will. Go take your totalitarian nanny state mentality somewhere else. There's no place for it in these United Sates.

@eiwaz Yes but yelling fire while there is no fire is causing panick. I would say in that instance, to yell "fire" when there is no fire, is not freedom of speech, that's deliberately causing harm, either financially or psychologically. When you see a person in need you are OBLIGATED BY THE LAW to help that person. Then your right to mind your own business is lifted. Thesame with freedom of speech. There are things that uplift your freedom of speech, to every rule there is an exception.

lol major issue, there is no issue here, gays are human beings, we should do everything in our power to expose bigots not hide them, the pastor should be able to speak but he should be challenged on his bigotry.

Correct me if I'm wrong (please do) but isn't it the USA that has "freedom of speech" and Canada has what is roughly equal... "Freedom of expression"?
Excellent SlackerSlayer, yelling fire is a right. The bill of rights are absolute rights. It can be no other way. Now, if there is a stampede and someone dies because you lied when you yelled fire, that can have criminal consequences. Still, it is a right. It is a question of actual crime vs. pre-crime. Free speech restrictions, among other things, are aimed at creating pre-crime. That's nonsense. Just like arresting for resisting arrest without an initial cause for that arrest.
