  • it is advisable that you apply a coat of clear glaze over the sponging to protect the coating as it is liable to wear of,she did alright but didnt explain why the need to add scumble glaze into the paint.well i will tell u it makes the paint stay wet for that bit longer for you to work,manipulate and change if whent wrong

  • Thanks so much for the extra info. It's very helpful. Yes, glazing liquid keeps the paint wet longer and also makes it thinner so that it is easier to use.
