  • I'm sorry, there is nothing esotheric in wudang. Their belief are more about metaphysical, like the principe of Dao. The reason why to practice tai ji and bagua is for health and longevity... no ghost, no esoteric.

  • What part of the wudang elephant have they let you see and study? are you blind? when you label wudang or anything, you limit nothing but your own perception....

Open at least one eye....."in the land of the blind, a 1 eyed man is king" ; )

  • taiji and tao are illusion to the taoists of wudang.let me show you..taiji is composed of yin and yang which is tao which is really wu chi right?ok, yin and yang are inseperable and there is no true yin nor yang right?so they do not exist and neither does tao or taiji.'if the tao can be described, it is not, right?the tao we know is our inefficient grasp or maya of wu chi

    tao is illusion.

  • part II: Taoism is the 'ism' of tao which is composed of this illusion taoism itself implies there is only balance no extreme

no quick or slow path, no left or right hand path etc, all a trick or illusion. They can only build the foundational understanding and point to wuchi. the reflection of the moon pointing to the moon....Now, are you still going to label wudang metaphysical, but not esoteric?

  • I really appreciate your reply to my comment. I am interested in the Dao and Dao de jing and daoism. But sometimes it's difficult to me to find some interesting and "true" things about it. As I live in Canada, the only place i've found where I can find things about this is on the internet. And there is very much saying that differ one from another.

Again, I really appreciate, thank you for sharing this with me.

  • You may really enjoy reading the hua hu ching i also have a few dvds on the interpretations of it. its the oral transmission of the tao from lao tzu

  • i never thought of the mental aspect like that. especially about the thumb. i work at a deli and the most traumatizing thing that happened to me was when i got a deep slice of my thumb clear off, i realy couldnt think straight for like 2 days after that until i noticed healing

  • Very nice!

  • Holy Shen. True master. How can I train under you? Priceless. Bagua the ultimate.

  • Well said with graphic descriptions! :-)

Your calm demeanor gives the presentation an unnerving quality. ;-)

    Cheers,
