I liked when that building was called the RCA Building. NBC has gotten two left-sided for me.

I'm glad to see NBC with Brian Williams' theme has not lost its touch with Tom Browak's theme. Glad to see it is still there, the view of Manhattan, and John Williams' amazing song.

Yeah, but even if it is a live shot, it still seems quite light even in the autumn and winter months.

The GE Building is where the show is filmed. They always play a live shot of New York City, and since it was August and the show ends at 7pm, the sun hadn't set yet.

If this is "NBC NIGHTLY News", why do they ditch a skyline of New York City at night for a shot of the GE Building in the middle of the afternoon?
