What a legend Paul is.I reckon he would have won in 93 had he started the season right from the first race rather than round 9.94 would have been possible too had the Alfas not had the aero advantage.Either way,he was one of the best BTCC drivers around in the nineties but bad luck usually plagued him.

@fearbeforefearbefore The 2nd chicane at knickerbrook was actually put in after Paul Warwick (younger brother of Derick) Came off the corner of knickerbrook and was killed - Derek actually Campagned himself to have it installed , even though investigations proved wishbone failure was the cause of the accident

Ah, this brings back memories. I was at this meeting!
-
Was even better before it was slaughtered with two chicanes.
-
Amen to that that!

i love the fact James Thompson won today 14 years after this video

Oulton Park is such a good circuit. The 1990's had the best motorsport going. BTCC, F1, the WRC was great... it's such a shame to see how those competitions are now. F1 has been good this year but the WRC and BTCC are awful.

they ran without power steering to keep weight down. radisich was working his a** off
-
well, he might call this bad luck. But that is NOTHING compared to Derek Warwick in the Alfa the same year... That must have been one of the worst seasons ever for a driver in BTCC! He was unlucky in nearly every singel race...

God, I used to love that old Ford Mondeo touring car...the whine's spine-tingling!
What a lovely noise makes this Mondeo!

Bring back the 300hp cars that were more dependant on their tyres then their wings for grip.
Modern BBTC cars usually only pass by taking the other car off. :(
