The title was misleading..... Being electrocuted means you die. The elephant was only shocked. Still it was nice seeing a happier ending than I expected. :)

This zoo wins the Darwin Award for most ignorant stupid zoo on the planet. How hard is it to put a LABEL reading 24 Volts on the wall so someone will know not to plug into the 240 Volt outlet???!!!! Of course that does nothing if someone is drunk or on drugs and totally incoherent while working

Again what we have here is human neglect ,..human stupididty,...human incompetence of the highest order....absolutely dreadful living conditions for an elephant AND keeping it caged

I nominate this "zoo" for an extreme animal hazard award.

First, the barrier between the elephants and the visitors is a 10ft concrete drop? Are you fucking serious?

Second, the barrier they temporarily placed between the two elephants was a LIVE electrical wire with enough juice to near kill one of the animals? Are these zoo staff fucking brain-dead?

One really has to ask - how do these morons look after their own children? Here kiddo, tell me if this bleach tastes funny....
