I think it's easy to turn the Cops into faceless representations of "the Man" when they're really people. I see that thin line of Cops surge forward then stop, and I see a lot of people who are obviously charged with adrenaline, but also scared shitless. They are totally outnumbered by the crowd in front of them, and if that crowd charged them seriously, they would totally overwhelm the cops.

I think that that is the reason for a lot of violent incidents between police and protestors.

@LukeCage4018 This is somewhat true.... although behind the line of Police is a solid road-block of Police-Vans, closing off every exit. This was the plan all along; boil the kettle of protester adrenaline, get a reaction, hit back hard, make the news whatever you want it to be. The reality was we just wanted t go home peacefully.

Exxxactly.... if it's SAFETY we're after, then why not use the speed-restriction technology that DOES exist to limit speed in specific areas ;) ....it's all about the £££££.... those with the £££... own the system itself.

I think the actions of some are controlled by the person's personality. I think in a riot situation the police officers' actions would be diluted amongst the crowd.

This is when the police takes on a gang like structure and it's them vs us. It's sad to see.
