  • wait so let meget this straight. theres no such thing as 600 htz? its actually 60 htz? is this just your t.v or ALL the plasmas that have this error? becaue i just bout a samsung 63 inch with 600 htz. does this mean its actually lower?? please do reply this worries me becuase i was thinking that i had better t.v that 120 and 240 htz

  • @bryansbag there is no tv month2date that has 600 htz, samsung is spreading rumors lol yeah bro your tv is not 600htz,u should be able to see the hz speed by turning to an hd channel or any hdmi input device

  • @bryansbag dont know bro,but all i know is in sams club they had the 58 version of my tv and it blew everything away

  • @bryansbag after doing research, hz didnt become a factor until lcd and led's came into the picture. PLASMAS dont have mottion hz issue period and never really did.

  • I don't know how to compare these specs directly to an LCD hz, and is is my first flat tv so I can't really provide valuable commentary on the matter. What I do love is the contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 and it has a diversity of inputs that I find nice. For example I run my computer into the VGA and watch divx and such and the images look great. The finish is shiny and sexy! I also wall mounted mine using a remote controlled visio tilting wall mount which was only 100 at Costco.

  • @homebrewman23 The hard thing to do is to find someting that outputs more that 60 fps. xbox 360 is capped at 60, ps3 same thing, movies never surpass 30 fps unless its bluray, and still bluray wont surpass 60. The only thing capable of outputting more that 60 fps is a computer and a high end one at that. Most pc games are capped at 60 as well. even 75 fps is remarkable to behold

  • @bryansbag Thats not exactly right. A 60 hz tv has a 3 ms response time where this tv has a 1 ms response time so that means its capable of a variety of framerates, meaning it doesnt have limitation that have to be broken into multiples of 60. It can display 120 fps, 75 fps 59 fps 60 fps ect. Try a video game from a computer like cod that can surpass 60 fps and you will see what I mean

  • @bryansbag the tech is always created long before enough source is created to exist with it...how many years now have hdtv been out yet there still are sooooo many channels yet to be converted to hd...and 3d tvs are out but yet there is only like maybe one or two 3d signal channels on tv....so the tv is capable of 600hz but no source yet will likely give you that.

  • @bryansbag actually the tv is capable of 600hz but youll never get it at least not for a long time...it is like how they advertise internet speeds...they always say the MAX you can reach..but you know your actual speed will never be that. The tv will always display 60hz because that is what are the signals being recieved are. If ever the tv is able to recieve a 600hz signal then you will notice your tv info change to 600hz. but don't count on it for awhile

  • @bryansbag it is 600htz for zero motion blur and smooth picture

120 htz is mainly used for 3d

  • just got this tv at abcwarehouse,so far a great tv, i got it for $852 tax included with a 2 yr warrenty

  • @DUGLESSM Motion Compensation 100 Hz, 600Hz Subfield Motion

  • @DUGLESSM 600Hz Subfield Motion

  • I was thinking buying this same tv Model (PN50C550) i'v read a lot of reviews that say this tv either broke after two months or fried the chip and smoke came out the back i was wondering if your tv is still working fine or are there problems?

  • its more than 60 hz, but not true 600 hz
