Up for a flight with Doreen in her RV6 Experimental. Coastal to Mt Martha, Cape Shank, Cowes (for an orbit of Mike's place) and then on to Tooradin for calamari. Then back to Moorabbin on a busy day.
This is the approach from Carrum with a Grumman (MDA) off to our left that followed VCF (RVAC Alpha 160). We were faster than both but had to widen out because the tower didn't let us overtake.
I was a passenger on this trip with Doreen PIC. Not that I wanted to try out a control stick experimental this time. Maybe another time, but I don't think there's enough room in it for me to fly it. I was folded in to just keep clear of controls.
Nice trip at 500ft most of the way. And the pilot's menu at Tooradin is fantastic value!!
Mark, good to see another vid,Kept me waiting a good while!! I've been flying the 172 recently, they need much more rudder than the PA28. Took a while to get the hang of it.

@nollaigocon Hi Noel. Lovely day today and nice to get up in a high performance experimental! Pity they don't take 190cm pilots into account! A bit tight for me - but lunch at Tooradin made up for the cramps. Might get on with my training soon - next trip might be the 3 hour solo nav. Keep your fingers crossed for me, eh?
