After the response from my last 2 videos i decided to make this video using the song dont stop believin. also for fun i threw in hugo valenti from the evolution tribute band as well as some fun audio clips

Why is the sound so quiet on Steve Perry's Vocals? Hmmmmmm I wonder???? Because Steve is the best Journey Singer, that is why they just keep getting replacements that sound like him. Btw I have nothing against Arnel, but if you are going to compare them please do it fairly.

I used a live recording of steve perry.  Becuase I wanted to make it fair. Other than Arnel none of them have studio recordings of this song. Sorry that the quality wasnt the greatest.

Man, this isn't a fair comparison. You put some singers' live performances in comparison with studio-miked vocals... I could barely even hear Jeff Scott Soto

I have said this before and I will say it again. All these clips are live clips since the only Studio recording available at the time would have been perry so i chose to use nothing but Live. As for not being able to hear Soto's voice I was limited in the number of recordings of Soto I could find. That is the best I could do

After hearing this audio defintely arnel has the better voice of them all. Sorry, but that's what I can tell. Notice in Perry's voice he shorti'n the high notes and it's sounded like a little poppy dog but it's ok still sounds nice. But over all the best is arnel no doubt about it.

Sorry I just posted negative things on my previous comment because I like the way you put this video together! I just listened to it again and enjoyed it very much. All of the Journey singers are excellent singers, I just love Steve with my heart like so many of us so I can become easily bent out of shape regarding him.

I'm not a journey fan but I think AP is the perfect replacement this time since today is in a different generation of music. His voice is more powerful eventhough SP is still the best when it comes to hitting those high notes
