Big Tee Racing Pacer on-board cam

Phil running the BTR Pacer 60 at the 2009 OMRA Leicester AA-D event. Dead engine start and leading from the front in this heat. The Pacer was setting a blistering pace and even Andy Uttley's very quick Phantom 145 [the final race winner), could not get near it until 22 laps in when an erratic manouvre by a much slower back marker caused a near shunt and stalled the engine. This then blew the source coil and was the end of the heat. The boat had been running perfectly up to then. A quick swap of the coils between heats saw the Pacer back up for heat 2 and a very creditable 60 laps - the second highest recorded for heat 2.

Check out the slower boats being passed. The only time the throttle was eased off was for the rescue boat. You can see Andy's Phantom in the background.

great video ,what size fuel tanks do you run in this boat and could you tell me roughly with a 750ml tank how long could i expect to run a 26cc zenoah flat out for . thanks the pacer is a fine looking boat

Depends on the event as to the size of the tanks. For a normal 30 Min heat I would normally run about 1.5 litres of fuel, although for a 1 Hr enduro race then 3 litres would be necessary. With a tuned RCMK, I just about manage to get round with this amount of fuel. A stock Zenoah would use proportionately less - in the region of 800ml-1L for a 30 min stint. A 750ml tank with a stock Zen in this hull would probably last in the region of about 20-30 mins depending on conditions. HTH

the hull is doing fine in the rough. my own boats(ac magnum,ppb warrior) dont like these rough conditions. can you tell me more of this pacer(60 or 70).

how much it weight, and who made the hull. would be nice to have a extra boat for this conditions :)

thanks that helps me (new to boats) i have a none modified zenoah running a 750 ml tank ,i think i will look for 1.5 litre just to keep it on the water longer
