  • Sorry to be an asshole but u cant pour for shit especially with that kind of beer or stouts such as Guinness. You never do that to your beer i dont care where your from thats just wrong. Your pour at a 45 degree angle like a regular beer and then straighten it out and let it settle or surge then you will have your perfect pint.

  • Try it, you won't regret it. Someone who works behind the bar actually showed me this. It's so much quicker than the normal method.

  • A couple of things....

You should rename the video '' How to Pour The Perfect'' , as that can is not a pint and does not fill your pint glass.

Second, its a draught beer, therefore it will settle like that anyway as the 'widget' inside the can is designed to pour such.

  • Agreed on the pint thing but that would be a weird name for the video. Try it with a can without a widget and it still works. I'm pretty sure the widget is the keep the head creamy not to aid pouring.

  • That only really works with caffereys though doesn't it? And it's not so great with bottles, but you're right, the people need to be told!

  • No I do it with all cans, I'm not sure about bottles I've never tried.

  • your drinking ale so its different for larger

  • you cant pour a pint for shit, open can pour bit into bottom of glass the turn glass on side and continue to pour as you reach the top, turn the glass back to the way ou started. there you go the perfect pint

  • T,es laid

  • Actually to all you nay-sayers, a lot of beer companies instruct this as the best way to pour beer from a can. If the beer is a widget beer it uses nitrogen and thus does not need time to settle as a beer using carbon dioxide would.

  • it's 2010 now@!@!

  • different beer needs be poured differently. maybe for the beer the man showed you it was proper, but it aint proper for others.

  • sizin o amcık aksanınızı skiim yavşak ağızlılar yahu nasıl tutuluyorum şu aksana

  • I've done this upside-down pour with many hefeweizens, it works quite well.

  • thanks i'll try this
