oh man,
you have the same prob like me, im 19 singing this song too and i cant sing a high a too, its aweful to sing this song without singing the very high note ....

one of my favorite versions of this song performed on youtube but it would be cool if u sang the original melody not to insult your singing in anyway because it was beautiful it's just that the orginal melody is simply amazing

good. I did enjoy your Fauré a little more though. You don't seem to totally understand the whole ideal of this piece. Have you performed Dichterliebe? This song works alone but it is a great cycle to perform. Good

Great voice...I think you could have easily sung the original melody line up high. The higher notes you sang were well in tune. The accompaniment was way too pounding and heavy...especially at the beginning. German pronunciation not bad!
