@H3XAGaming by boots on the ground do you mean they are on the ground? yes, the 101st was tasked with stabilization of Kandahar province (birthplace of the Taliban). They have seen more combat than any NATO unit in Afghanistan. Do they do combat jumps using parachutes? Never. They are always dropped off by helicopter then move on foot to their destination.

@srithikdatta Do they still get boots on the ground like in the video? or is this rare for them? Or are they just dropped off by Heli's?

@H3XAGaming No, they part of the 101st Airborne Division. The unit used to be paratroopers during WW2 (hence the name), now they specialize in air assault (helicopters).
