Brutal murder caught on video

Fresno police hope "upping the ante" on four unsolved homicide cases will motivate witnesses to come forward.

Incident #1: Dec. 31, 2006
Toua Her, 33, is killed at the intersection of Peach and Lane. Police say a two Asian males in a black, two-door car opened fire on Her's vehicle. Police have recovered the suspect vehicle but they need to make additional arrests. Authorities say there was no indication Her was involved in any illegal activity.

Incident #2: March 16, 2006
Fang Vang and Elbert Lee, along with a friend, were leaving Melodie Park after a friendly game of basketball. At the intersection of Stanford and Dayton, several Asian male suspects who were on foot ambushed the vehicle. They fired 50 rounds at Vang and Lee's car. All three passengers were struck. A white Honda was seen leaving the area. Vang and Lee died from their injuries. Police say it appears this was a case of mistaken identity. They say the victims had no gang ties.

Incident #3: March 18, 2007
Danny Estrada, 22, was killed in broad daylight as he exited a convenience store on the corner of Belmont and Maple. Surveillance video shows a suspect in a brown Chevy Tahoe following Estrada into the parking. A short confrontation ensued. Estrada walked away and into the store to purchase milk for his 2-year-old daughter. When Estrada left the store and approached his truck, the suspect confronted him again. The suspect then pulls up a gun and fires. Estrada died at the scene. Fresno police say the victim did not have crime ties. They hope a newly-released surveillance video will lead to an arrest. They also want to speak with a third person: a young Hispanic man seen leaving the convenience store shortly before the shooting. Authorities say he may have witnessed the killing.

These are very very stupid people doing all these violent acts. What's the point? Jesus Christ, gangsters play soldier too much. You put a loaded gun in their hands and they think they can do just about anything. Act like they're the shit and go out looking for fights. Im glad I carry a gun, but even then even if he was armed he wouldnt have had much of a chance. The guy who killed him came there with intent.
