Our P. metallica laid a sac tonight!!! I was luck enough to get it all on tape (constructing the sac, egg laying, silking the eggs, wrapping up the sac) although my favorite part in the vid was of her laying the eggs. You could actually see the eggs coming out of the furrow very clearly!!! This is by far my favorite vid and it always will be!!

This is a must see!!

  • rob i was wondering, wat do you do after the tarantula has laid its eggs . do u just leave the eggs or incubate it or whatsoever. nid tips bro. was planning in breeding, still don't know wat to do after the tarantula lays its eggs. how many days do u incubate it? and for how long do you open the sac? hoping for your immediate reply!!!:) tnx!

  • @MrGuitarlover98 Leave it with the female for 30-40 days and then incubate the eggs. I wouldn't get a rosie...I ave NEVER seen a nice one. Get a B.smithi.

  • hey Tarantula guy, I am started to get really interested in the idea of getting a pet tarantula I was wondering if you could give me a idea on: the perfered species of a human contact friendly spider for beginners, and the necessities like food plans and terrarium supply and what add ons and ecosystem it should represeant. I love your videos, thank you :)

  • @ADTRfan500 I would get either something in the Avicularia genus or brachypelma genus.

  • Hey tarantula guy do you have a website?

  • @ADTRfan500 i bet you made a decision by now but i would highly recommend a chaco golden knee, they get really big and very tame, i had one that got out and hid in my shoe and i almost crushed him putting it on and yet no bite

  • that was the coolest thing I've ever seen!

  • I love watching your videos I love how excited you get :) I have a question can Tarantulas hear? that may sound like a stupid question but I couldn't get over how calm she is...she is one beautiful creature :) keep up what you do I love watching your videos!!

  • I love how colourful she is. How many babies does a tarantula have from a Single lay and also is possible to breed tarantulas with different breeds or does it have to be the same breed of tarantula for the mating to be successful

  • What an amazing video. You did a good job on everything and grats on the spider babies! You should send it in somewhere. Let other people see this.

  • She's gorgeous, and so sweet with her eggsac.

  • Hey Tarantula guy, me and my boyfriend want a tarantula, I really like the colorings on this one you have. Is she a human friendly one? Because if so my boyfriend is going to by (along with me helping him) this type. And if this type isn't friendly, do you have any suggestions for human friendly types?

  • I hate spider's not tarantula's spiders are like black widows who are not smart and cannot be pets tarantulas can be pets and are human friendly .

  • How much are these t's. I live in england and have a chilli rose, and mexican red knee. Love my spiders. I have them in my office at work on my desk. I get to see them all day!

  • That is one beautiful spider!
