the girl was never mine but i still cared for her in a way i dont fully understand. i hadn't heard from her in a few years, for awhile we hung out all the time, and i felt a connection with her i have yet to have had with anyone thus far in my life, doubt i ever will, i hadn't heard from her in a few years untill a few months ago, she found me on Facebook, she still lives around here, she still has a somebody and so do i, never really sure exactly what i meant to her.

How times have changed over the last 30 years. Now drinking in a car is viewed much as copulating in a public park with two trannies and a teenaged catamite would be in the 1950's.

Heard this song around Christmas and just had to find out who sang it. Imagine my surprise. It's now a part of my playlist. A nice bittersweet song by the late great Dan Fogelberg.
