  • Most of religions that can be taught and be certified are all hauks. They are mostly man made. Hmoob don't organize religion to have power. Hmong religion is the truth. Shamanism can't be taught and certified. Only the chosen ones can do the rituals.

Even bible said that you should not believe in an idle God. Weren't Jesus, Alah, Buddha, and so... were all idles to people? "Religion is to protect the dumbos, and the law is to control the smart ass'.

  • Vang Pao Hmong/Mong are blessed, because we've had the opportunity to emmigrate to countries with plentiful opportunities, like U.S., France, Australia, Canada, U.K., and French Guiana. I was myself born in a Thai refugee camp, but I only lived there 5 months before coming to the U.S. (and now I'm a naturalized citizen).

For all that matters, Vang Pao Hmong/Mong in first world nations should use their opportunity to learn about their roots and appreciate their history.

Vangpao changed name from Meo to Hmong in 1969 to show American peoples

that they are only Meo group in Asia that help CIA fight Pathetlao.

  • Ah, the never-ending Hmong Vs Miao debacle. There is no clear or universal concensus therefore we all are left to make our own decision/conclusion on the subject matter. Whether Hmong or Miao, just accept who you are and try to be a better Hmong/Miao where ever you may live holding fast onto what you have be it inherited, learned, or institutionalized. Tej zaum yeej yuav muaj ib hnub peb yeej yuav zoo xwb raws li kev vam meej.

  • @me001

study more then you will realized.... the Hmong composed the largest group in the Miao Nationality.... Miao is the Chinese pronunciation of Hmong.

  • Hmong people are western miao. not all miaos are hmong.

  • Our people and heritage are amazingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing this clip :)

  • @jsson2k hi at 0:57 wat the man doing??

  • @sebastiantao, its okay to feel that way but when you want a group of people simply leave what they know as a culture as something they have to hold on to, it is never that easy. You are not the only one who feels Hmong traditional are old and should be let go, but I tell you what, there will come a point in life where we long to associate with those who are similiar to us.

  • @stillmatic337 Religion is a human religion because people need to feel secure about the unknown and Shaman knows much of that unknown. But you are right, the arguement is a human arguement and really has nothing to do with the real god or devil - they could careless about human religion.
