A recent patch changed it so the Cyborg Combat Auras are available at character creation.

Actually, for the combat auras, you don't need to be lvl 30. I put one on my 20 defender. Only the auras from the cyborg pack can be used before lvl 30 though.

Both are really cool, but IMO it depends on if you're more into the tech theme or the arcane theme.
