The Massachusetts Senatorial race has turned into an exciting race, especially considering that seat has been occupied by Teddy Kennedy and been basically uncontested since 1962. It seems like its time for change. Democrat Martha Coakley and President Barack Obama are asking the people of Massachusetts to keep Ted Kennedy's seat in the democratic party. Perhaps its time for whoever occupies that seat to represent the people of Massachusetts.

That's what having a Senate seat is, after all. The seat represents the people who vote for whoever is to sit in that seat. Its not Ted Kennedy's seat, its not a democratic seat, as Scott Brown said, 'It is the People's Seat'. Well said. It IS The People's seat and whoever sits there should represent the will of the people who put him or her there.

In this case, The People of Massachusetts have a choice between Scott Brown and Martha Coakley. Brown is a candidate who has expressed a willingness and DESIRE to follow the will of the people, who will represent all the people regardless of what their party affiliation is, who promises to avoid infringing on the rights of the people and to never assume the seat he occupies is his. Coakley is the establishment candidate who apparently assumed she would ascend to the Senate seat because it was a 'democrats seat', she has vowed to rubber stamp the massive health care bill, she is being supported by the Washington insiders and the elite, she doesn't know how to spell Massachusetts (as evidenced by her sending out mailers with it misspelled).

Scott Brown represents REAL change for Massachusetts. He has a record of independent thinking, not following a party line. He will be the voice of The People of Massachusetts in the Senate who have not had their voice heard there in a generation.

Reasons to vote for Scott Brown:
* He represents the people of his state
* He will vote against the pork-filled health care bill
* The ObamaCare bill will leave Seniors with reduced Medicare benefits
* Massachusetts already has a health care plan that covers most of its residents. ObamaCare will double dip into the over extended pockets of MA residents to pay for health care for the rest of the country.
* TAXES! TAXES! TAXES! How high can the taxes in Mass. go? Taxachusetts ring any bells?

  • I'm at the other end of the nation and I contributed to Brown's campaign. Screw you ACORN-commie bastards. We're gonna clean house this year in California. You're next, Boxer and Feinstein!

  • I have to say that what happened tonight in Massachusetts makes me PROUD to be an American again. Even in one of the most liberal states in the Union, the American people are smart enough to see what the Demon-Rats are: socialist elites who want to control our lives using healthcare as an excuse.

And I am especially proud of the great people from the great state of Massachusetts! That's where I got my MBA degree from, too! I love that historical & beautiful state & her very nice people!
