Here is the Intro of the Still Loud´n Proud-Tour of Nazareth in 2009/2010. I´ve heard it in Osnabrück and Paderborn. I was searching so much and now I found it. Hope you like it like I do on concert. Absolut marvelous. Special thanks to Naz-Fanside in Austria for posting the link. nazareth-austria@aon.at . And the great piece of music is from the album "Riverdance" of Bill Whelan and is called " Caoineadh Cu Chulainn". It was played by David Spillane, of course I think so. And now enjoy it and please rated it. Thankx for watching and Naz rocks.

  • The music is Caoineadh cu Chulainn. It's about Cuchulainn the champion warrior of Ulster. He killed his son Conlai( who had grown up in Skye). He didn't know his son,but he recognised the gold ring on Conlais finger which Chulainn had given to Aoifa, Conlai 's mother. Caoineadh cu Chulainn means Chchulainns Lament. "I care not though i last but a day if my name and fame are a power forever".

  • @resistancevids1 thanx for posting

  • Saw and heard this very man playing this beautiful haunting lament in Dublin 2009. Riverdance. Loved it so much I cried. His face says how much he feels it too. Absolutely awesome

  • easily the most beautiful music i have ever heard with my on two ears

  • Does anyone know somewhere I can get this version of the song for my ipod? Can't find it on amazon or itunes.

  • Unparalleled. Davey get everything out of the pipes humanly possible.

Soulful - everytime I hear this I'm reminded of how wonderful it is to be Scoth-Irish.

The song rings true to my bones.
