When you come to your senses in admitting you've broken God's Laws and repent w/ a true heart, then he'll remove the ''selfishness'' and grant you to receive "...the devine nature of his promises'' thru His Son.

The perks of being an atheist (or in my case agnostic) No living dogmatically or to the dictates of people who are not required to prove their claims--thinking for ones self and making informed decisions based on facts--being free to show real love and compassion without strings or bigotry--finding the value of life and living it to the fullest because it is all we have...(and all this only if we so choose)

@Urudrim sure he knows you are in for selfish reasons, thats why he gave his kid up for a blood sacrifice so that you can get to heaven as a Spiritual Carrot to bribe you to follow his edicts. So God at his very core is feeding that selfish nature.

Part of being Atheist is not believing in an afterlife (HELL/HEAVEN) So I guess we'd have less fear of Death... We're free to do things that religion would frown upon, for example, Homosexuality. Christiananity is against Homosexuality, but what's wrong with it? That they are attracted to the same Gender as they are? What the heck is wrong with that?

atheists get cookies which are pretty good. Oh, and sundays free. we still do christmas with Santa. Christians may get hell and eternal torture if they have been bad. :-(
