its funny because this is what we are currently playing in our high school band, and my "homework" was to research this song, and look what i found! what a coincidence...

And after re-listening it sounds like a lot of it is coming from the sax section. Though, the trumpets seem like they could use a bit more work on some jazz tech. Is that you on drums in this one? If so, you sound pretty good man.

That's what I figured. Just generally everyone seems a bit out of tune from each other. In 9-12 (that's where I am at the moment too) that's fairly normal, and you actually sound pretty good, but it's not up to college level quite yet.
