fish bowl vs tank

this video may seem a bit sucky/gay...i only did it coz i was bored out of my mind!!! but still i think goldfish shouldnt be kept in bowls, all my goldies and bettas are kept in tanks :) look out for my fish! the video part of this is one of my fish tanks.....also the pics at the end r my fish except the close up of the green eyed fat fish lol

i have a bowl but it isnt like the one in this vid its big with a large opening and i have filteration and oxygen with plenty of plants and rocks for the gold fish is that ok and soon i will get a 20 gallon hopefully

@kenny123663 they can be and they can also be easy to keep too, all pets take resposibilty and if you do own a pet u must be prepared to take on the demands and resonsibilties to keep that pet happy and healthy

thanyou... i bought a goldfish bowl today as me and my little brother just wanted to start out. unfortunately it is now too late to get a tank, however i have been doing some research and this video has convinced me that after a few weeks i will upgrade my bowl to a tank. i genuinely had no idea until i saw this video the problems with bowls. and although our bowl does have a filtration system i would be much happier knowing my fish were safe in a tank. thanks again :)

Can you keep the fish in the bowl for a while till you get a bigger tank? and filter because i have a 10 gallon fish bowl for my fishie comara/girl! And she seem happy and lively. but i am worried because of this video. can i use a lizard tank after thourly washing it out with scolding hot water? Because i am scared and this is my first fish ever i dont want to lose her! :( plz type me back as soon as possible

No goldfish do not need 10 gallons each. They need 1 gallon for every inch of fish but other than that very true and good video

Omg thanks! I had no idea until I watched this video now I know why my gold fishes diddnt live very long..... Well my sisters old gold fish was in a little tank with a filter and it's tail got stuck on the filter thing so it sorta ripped and it couldn't swim anymore. Eventually it died because it couldn't go up to get its food and yeah it was very sad 😔
