It is difficult for those who do not dig for themselves. The biggest problem I see is that mankind fouled up the story that was given them. They continue to this day in that effort it appears.

I'm an atheist, but I will admit that you've provided a literary reconciliation, however ridiculous it may seem. Still, there's thousands of others problems with the Bible that are irreconcilable.

@SolomonSeries I think I must have been in one of my moods when I made that statement. I appologise to you and to Jesus for my grumblings. The Holy Bible is the greatest book ever written. I have been in church since i was 15. There was a period when I was in my thirties that I took off and did the prodigal son thing for nine years. I will have to spend some time in prayer about my current attitude. I dont want to start using you tube as a means to jab at God. Its best to discuss these things.

It is true that things in Genesis once twisted make everything else askew. One needn't go all the way back to creation to find the errors. Much of the Torah is mis-used and misunderstood. Clearly it did not govern the Kings as it was discovered and "translated" much later by the surprise of Ezra and others. Big confusion exists on the things that could/should have been historically established, yet have not been.

Hi Brad, truth is a hot topic for me. Especially Genesis. Because if we don't get that right, then the rest of our interpretations will be skewed. Some alot. Others perhaps only a little. But I don't rely on my Pastor. Because he (like most Christians) cares more about religion than truth. That's why we can't just forget why Cain's offering was rejected. You can suppose God "tolerated" incest "unto correction" if you like. But Heb.13:8 is no proof text for your supposition. In fact the contrary.

@OldEarthCreationist Hello friend I can see that this topic is a hot potato for you, and no doubt your Minister! forget WHY GOD rejected Cains offering! the Bible says that he is of that wicked one! As for Incest one can only stand on the WORD Heb,13,8 I think to ask such a question is to make our LORD and Savior a Judge! and he is not.
