Our hero Galenswerd the Minstrel meets us in the Bird and Baby Inn over in Mitchel Delving. After a fine ale and a smoke he tells us the tale of Whiskey in the Jar.

Don't forget to IM or Mail "Galenswerd" in game on LANDROVAL server and let him know what you think of his video!

This version was originally performed by Thin Lizzy and is on the album Celtic Rocks by the band FATHOM. The background celtic music you hear is also performed by FATHOM. www.fathom.tv Fathom's music is available on I-Tunes and elsewhere.

  • It's "Whack fol the daddy oh"

  • Not on the Thin Lizzy version - which this is a rendition of.

  • We feel Fathom's version takes it to the next level.

  • hey larsa...the original was by the Dubliners...an irish folk band...then passed on to thin lizzy and then to Metallica...this version is pretty sweet...but in my opinion...i like Metallica's version...

  • Sorry, but neither of those is the orginal,

this song dates back to the 1600's - it is

a traditional song. Thats why so many bands cover it, there is no copyright!

  • This is truly the best of all versions because it has the celtic and heavy parts mixed together! Glad to have found Fathom! I just downloaded the whole album from I-Tunes!
