Scarified Live (cover)

Another cover of scarified by racer x, this time performed live with a full band at an actual show. Thanks to complete lack of soundchecking I dominate the mix on this a 'bit' too much. Didn't really rehearse it with the drummer either unfortunately, which you can probably hear quite clearly by the rather, uh, loose feel at the start and to a lesser extent througout the rest of the performance.

If you want a faster version watch the audition thing I uploaded- much better performance really. Though this video is pretty much the tempo pg seems to play this at nowadays - about 140bpm.

I would have to agree, but that just really gives the song a lot of power, and now it looks like the guitarists are really outshining the rest of the band.

I think the 2 guitarist are the only ones who actually know this song. The rhythm section is slacking so much it makes it un-listenable.

Every member of the band has to have AMAZING chops to pull off this song.

i love playing this in a 3 piece band (just sounds better, i prefere the space ship live version of scarified not the original album version with 2 guitars) 4* the guitar is too overpower just because the lead is strong and the second one pushes it over the top and the bassist didn't fill aswell/loudly as hoped
