Cao Ren solo chaos run, recorded and edited by me. Part 1 of 2.
This is mainly for fun. For maximized Cao Ren Warriors Orochi gameplay, refer to the DW5chaosmodeguide channel.
Welcome to whack-a-mole hell, complete with random morale screws that give Zhang Liao all the endurance of a wet Kleenex in a hurricane. No you can not has fire attack. Get out of my base and stop killing my dudes.
It is possible to prevent the engineers entirely by rushing both Shingen and Kenshin, and I've done it with Cao Ren solo. I can't pull that trick too often, though, so I went for a solid garden-variety run with some general rushing before the fun starts. I fulfill the conditions to unlock Yoshimoto Imagawa.
Abilities:
Potence, Boost, Vitality, Fortitude, Impulse, Technique, Cavalier

His C3 - the Mega Buster charge - is weaksauce in this game. I use it against some of the engineers, and that shows how little damage it does. Its main purpose is setup, such as stunning an officer and a bunch of enemies in front of them in a dense crowd so you can zip in for a quick kill.
In WO, Cao Ren's fastest officer killing tactics involve C1 stomp bouncing. He's back to shooter mode in the sequel with a huge damage boost to C3 and a new C3-ex special charge. I have a video of this.

I use a Dazzle capture device. I split the signal from the Xbox to go to the TV and the Dazzle at the same time so I can play on the TV without any lag. There are some videos on YouTube that explain how to set this up, but my comment keeps getting eaten when I try to link to them. Type this into the search box: how to record video gameplay
