What the blankety are you talking about? The Civil War had nothing to do with freeing slaves because of any moral dilemma: The South could crank-out cheap crap and that was wrecking the North's global and domestic economy (just like NAFTA and CAFTA is doing now). So either the North could wreck the South's economy and force the North's economic model on the South, or the North would go through an economic crash. Why do you think we've been at war since WWII?
