  • this will fry your ps3...

  • @rockabillysilly really? it fried yours? you met someone who's Ps3 got fried?

  • Sony has said that this "test" can infact burn out your graphic card so attempt at ur own risk

  • Well where did Sony said that? I really don't understand how a high rpm fan can burnout a graphic card. So link pls.

  • Well it won't break it in theory. It is the cooler test, which not only test the cooler, but it blows out the dust too. You turn of completly your PS3 from the back, than hold the eject button and turn back in. Do this every once in a while to keep you ps3's cooler nice and clean :)

  • What do i think ? I think this method works PERFECT because i think that it frys the dust out of the ps3 and thats why it automaticly ejects your game CD because it could also fry your CD

  • @CsMisMis not met, saw a ps3 that got fried. know someone who repairs ps3's and the red light from doing what you do in your video is a warning from the console that it's over heating. maybe sometime next week when i drop by the shop i'll see your ps3 there, yes?

  • easy fix is to get a slim

  • u shouldnt, then later it will kill your ps3

  • i have the 80Gb and it works on that?

maybe ur just not doing it right?

  • This is not a tactic that should be done. The only thing that you need to do to remove dust from the game or keep the fan from making the constant loud noise is to use a vacuum against the vents. If you have the game in an entertainment center, that may be the problem, as well. I had this problem. The game has to be in an open space. Remove it from the entertainment center and the fan should not blow loudly, on a constant basis.

  • how do u do that?

  • Maybe your choice
