advertisement Unsellable- Skirts for men

This video was for school work, and we were doing about advertisements and then we were set the task to do a unsellable or unlikely item to be sold. Here it is. i know it's awkward/wierd, but i have to upload it to be able to put it on my site.

Why is there such stigma of skirts for men?

Women wear pants. Let me wear skirts.

Opposition to social change is always present. The Romans in 393AD sent men in pants into exile & seized their property. In 1876 the editor of the NY Times called for women in pants to be locked up in mental hospitals ("A Curious Disease," May 27, 1876, p 6). Horseback riding put men into pants; factory work in WW2 sent women into pants. While men gave up skirts, women retained them. Greek, Albanian, Polynesian men & others still wear skirts as men not as female impersonators.

Personally, I don't think it's a bad look at all. I have never worn a skirt, doubt I ever will - but what's so important about gender that society has to make these types of rules? I mean, do people really need to see pants on my 6'0", 200lb body to avoid mistaking me for (God forbid!) a woman? Aren't the broad shoulders, big hands, deep voice and 4-day stubble enough? And, why does it even matter what's between my legs - why should society care? Go for it, 'slayer.

@Stallion8057 i don't really see the difference between guys wearing shorts and skirts. Men don't have to wear micro-mini's, if they don't want to that is, but we should have the right to wear one if we so choose to without being made to feel badly abou it.
