  • somebody please help. if i get this, can i use it without a computer and without any other synth. Basically, does it come with it's own sounds so I can play live

  • @scottchupp It is a controller, not a synth so you will need to connect it to something with a sound source.

  • Can someone please tell me the difference between max49 and mpk49

  • @shoh32311 It has different pads than the MPK, a different keyboard, a step sequencer built in and CV/Gate out so you can control pre-MIDI synths with it.

  • just think of an mpd32 like this. light up pads, 8 touch strip faders, 8 knobs, and a glossy red! thumbs up if you wish that could happen

  • I miss some knobs.

  • @polotenchikof The MPC-like pads are back-lit, which means the edges light up red when you touch them, very intuitive. The MPK pads don't light up, but do exactly the same thing (trigger midi notes, CC commands or program changes).

  • Why only 12 pads? Why no real knobs? That's a problem for such a price... Plus the touch faders look weird.

  • i wanna buy this can you send me the link

  • @AkaiProVideo and what is the difference between MPC-like pads and MPK-like pads?

  • I'm amazed it took this long for something better than motorised faders to come along. The only way forward now is to have a touchscreen in place of those touch strips, that can show graphics and text.

  • SOMEONE TELL ME WHEN YOU FIND OUT THE RELEASE DATE FOR THIS!!!

  • no knobs?
