  • this is marko was at the seminar tonite @ hbo.. thanks for sharing your content creation ideas.. culture catch def reminds me of TRIO a great network that was blacked out a while back..

  • thanks... nice vibe..

  • It's really hard to put impressions of him both as a person and a musician in 1-2 phrases. Matthew is just as wonderful as a human being can be. Some photos from his memorable performance with William Parker in Vilnius, Lithuania (2005) can be found on "thelonious" website. A new gallery from the latest concert by David S. Ware Quartet is comming up soon!

Is it possible to post links here?

  • if you still want to link.. lets do it,

  • I saw Matthew play at Firehouse 12 in New Haven Ct. 2 years ago-he's really on to the outer reaches of jazz

with a high degree of intelligence.

  • thanks... we love him too... we have private party with him coming up... if you interested, let us know..

  • I very much like what Matthew works, and use this opportunity to support him in his efforts. I agree with the windowpane 1 when he says: "Your style is what Jazz was created for in the first place"...

  • Keep up the music Matt..your style is what Jazz was created for in the first place..it was created by Black Men using the one thing that couldn't be restricted from them And that was the ability to create an art form using emotions from within and transferring that into music

  • First of all, tune your piano. Second, learn how to play the piano. This is not jazz but a retard who thinks he's the greatest jazz icon the world will ever know. He plays like a child, and has a long way to go, to ever be in the same category as Bud Powell, or Oscar Peterson. I guess the saddest thing is that he has such an inflated ego. In truth, it doesn't really matter what I think, just my observations.

  • i got an antipop-consortium album with matthew ship on every track. freakin awesome album. a lot of hip-hop has its roots in jazz in some ways.

  • Equilibrium rocks! Just another photo resourse to your attention: check /photos/mmdesign/ on flickr

  • This is my homeboy from Wilmington Delaware. I think he single-handedly saved Thirsty Ear with his Blue Series recordings. Equilibrium is the BOMB!
