This is fantastic! It would be incredibly difficult to play. Kudos to the performer(s)--your multiphonics are very controlled. I am a saxophonist and am currently researching Ligeti's Atmospheres for a paper in my 20th Century History class. Thanks for posting this! I'd love to see the score!

The glorious death throes of institutional forms, and the rearticulation of the excluded, abject, and resisted within the fecundity of its corpse. Or no? In any case: Ligeti ¡presente!

I would like toknow who composed this stuff.
I liked the contrast between the two parts. The "timbre" is interesting although does not change much. But its a really good piece. I would like to know the composer and who played it.
Thanx!!!

Dear Vitisaurio,
Thank you for your comment on the excerpt of 'Stratospere', a composition for saxophone trio, inspired by the famous orchestra piece 'Athmosperes' by Hungarian composer Gorgy Ligeti. 'Stratosphere' was premiered in 2006 in Venice/Italy by my saxophone trio Intersax. The recording you hear here is a demo where I recorded all 3 saxophones on my own. By the way there are no electronic effects involved, it's all live sounds which we call Multiphonics. Yours, T.Rüger
