SO...maybe you went out last night and had a "sketchy hook-up," and now you're all paranoid the person gave you HIV. Just go to a clinic or emergency room or whatevs and ask for a PREP & PEP pill.

Spread the word, the more buzz we create, the closer we'll get to having these HIV prevention tools in place for everyone.

  • This a one-month regimen and it has common, painful side-effects.

  • still just rapid antibody test, which you are correct require up to 6 weeks to show a positive result and are still known to show false positives; however not false negatives. The purpose from a population perspective is that they are simple, and if made easier to get and use on your own time privately they would be used more frequently and would catch more people, who will then curb their behavior and get on medications to make them uninfectious reducing overall transmission further

  • When you say rapid do you mean a pcr? Because the oralrapid test still only tests for antibodies and they have to build up first (much later then 72hrs) and the PCR I belive can only be preformed after 7days (no sure)

  • Great video for a great cause, Leeanne & Chris. It's as much of a problem in Texas as it is in Mass.
