Totally unique and original concept for horror! I love how this movie is by FAR the best of the "Halloween" series, and it doesn't even have Jason or Michael or Freddy or whatever the hell his name is. Stacey Nelkin is all you need in this one. Yum!

@iheartsoapoperas The sad thing is that in the original screenplay Michael Myer's mask was said to have worn a silver shamrock mask the night he murdered his family, so Carpenter could have easily included him in the film if he wanted to.

So, the wealthy owner of a novelty factory plans to sacrifice millions of children on Halloween night in a celtic ritual that involves stealing a rock from Stonehenge,putting small particles of it inside the tag on Silver Shamrock Halloween masks,and setting them off with a commercial jingle. The masks make kids head melt and produce bugs and snakes. Also,the wealthy owner of the novelty factory has robot henchmen.
That's the best plot for a movie I've ever heard of.

@sherryhmorrison Carpenter produced Halloween 3 and wrote the original music score with Alan Howarth ..... so he was involved with it !
