  • Thank you for posting this!

You say you also eat it raw... Is that straight after (or shortly after) slaughter or do you leave the meat in a cool place first before eating it? And which sauce do you use (if any)?

  • It's best to be fresh,

technology has improved since vacuum packaging, if eaten raw in 20 days.

Japanese meat lovers said to be delicious

    "between ripe and rotten" .

Originally, "SASHIMI" is to eat raw fish,

even when eating raw meat "SAHIMI" or "Sashi" if there is to say,

if you eat raw tongue in "Tongue-Sashimi" or "Tongue-Sashi".

    a case of eat raw,

with soy sauce mixed with Ginger or Wasabi.

    there are various ways....

  • Thank you very much for posting. I recently had Japanese style Gyutan and it is my favorite. I'm trying to recreate this at home.

Your method is different from the Mexican style of boiling to remove the skin as mentioned here. What do you think is the short coming on flavor when boiling to remove skin? I'm sure there is a reason to go through so much effort.

Your skill with the knife is very good.

  • @iain42 To stew it may be a good way.

In Japan, it may eat raw.

  • great knife skills. is that kobe beef tongue? lol, looks like a nice choice of tenderloin at the end.

  • @djvyce knowledgeable! but it is not KOBE Beef.

  • アメリカでは焼肉用に皮を剥いてスライスした状態では売られていないので毎回丸々一本の牛タンを買い、この動画を参考に皮剥きをしています!とても助かります。ありがとうございます(^O^)
